Empowering Impact: Pathway Group Celebrates Grant Success
Pathway Group is thrilled to announce a significant milestone in our journey of impact and growth: Maddy Fisk, Advisor and Grant Writer, has successfully secured a substantial grant for Seekhaven, from Yield Giving. This grant, totaling two million dollars, marks a significant achievement for the recipient organization and the community they serve.
Seekhaven, serving communities in Southeastern Utah, provides free and confidential services to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. They work to provide a wide range of services including advocacy, emergency shelter, counseling, and transition support.
Maddy’s journey to securing this grant began with a deep commitment to the Pathway Group mission and a passion for equal access to philanthropy, especially in rural communities. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by organizations in these areas, Maddy approached the grant application process with meticulous attention to detail and a focus on highlighting the universal human dignity of the organization’s projects.
Navigating the complexities of grant writing, Maddy ensured that the proposal aligned with both the priorities of the funder and the day-to-day operations of the organization. Her dedication to crafting achievable projects that make a tangible impact set her proposal apart and contributed to its success.
Looking towards the future, Maddy sees emerging trends in grant writing that signal positive changes in the field. She hopes to see a shift in how grants are awarded and a more accessible approach to securing funding for nonprofit organizations of all sizes and focuses.
This achievement represents more than just financial support; it serves as a testament to our organization’s dedication to creating positive change and fostering meaningful connections in the world. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Maddy on this incredible accomplishment and look forward to the continued impact of our work in the communities we serve.
Yield Giving was established by MacKenzie Scott “to share a financial fortune created through the effort of countless people”. To date, they have awarded over $17 billion to nonprofit teams around the world to use as they see fit for the benefit of others.
